If it is found upon delivery, that the item does not fit into the property the delivery team will inform the customer. If the item was not normally held in stock at MCA’s premises and has been ordered especially for the customer MCA will arrange to deliver to an alternative destination, this option will incur a delivery charge paid by the customer, we will if required to do so, store the item until the customer can make alternative arrangements for a maximum period of 4 weeks from the original delivery date. If we attempt to make a delivery on the delivery date/time slot that you have accepted and no one is present to receive the goods, necessitating a repeat delivery, you will incur a repeat delivery charge equal to that which has been charged, which must be paid prior to the redelivery. If the original delivery was free, then the applicable delivery charge for the size of item will be made, based on the largest item and mileage to destination in your order. You may have to wait for up to 30 days before we can deliver again in your area. We will contact you when the item you have ordered is available to be collected from our store, or if it will soon be available for delivery. At that time, we will arrange a convenient time for delivery to you. In most cases we operate a 2 person delivery team. Occasionally if the customer has requested a delivery time when only a 1 person delivery service is available the customer may need to help the driver offload and lift the furniture or heavy item. We will always inform you if a 2 person delivery service is not available
