market cross alston cumbria

Set in the heart of England’s highest market town on a steep cobblestone street, Market Cross Alston is a hidden gem offering gifts and home furnishings from around the world.  With over 35 years of retail experience we take pride in sourcing products that are unusual, unique and not normally found in large high street stores.

Alston is a bustling town made up of a hotchpotch of stone buildings many of which date back to the 17th century.  It is remote, about 20 miles in any direction from the nearest town and is approached over heather clad moors which have been designated as an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Unlike many other retail websites we prefer to speak to all of our customers personally, so if you see something on our website or have visited our shop and would like us to send something to you, simply give us a call on 01434 382534.  We will advise on post & packing costs and when you can expect to take delivery.
